Dual monitor sound question

I recently installed a new video card to support a dual monitor set up. I currently have monitor 1 as a standard dell widescreen monitor connected via VGA and standard speakers. Monitor 2 is an old 50" plasma TV connected through HDMI.

Is there a way to get audio to play through the standard speakers when, for example, playing a youtube video on monitor 1 and through the TV speakers if being displayed on monitor 2?

I don't think your computer can differentiate whether the sound (or more specifically the program creating the sound) is on one monitor or the other.

I don't even think analog and digital audio can produced simultaneously either.
