Dual Channel DDR

i have just bought a new mobo that supports dual channel ddr but i dont know quite what it is, please would someone educate me lol

Dual Channel is when you use two of the exact same RAM Dimms in the specified(in the user manual) slots..... They then run in tandem and make more efficient work of tasks and thus is much faster
