Doom 3

Doom 3 is supposed to be all about sound. The sound is supposed to be what makes the game so scary. So I got a good set of 5.1 surround sound speakers, attached them to my Audigy 2 ZS, and loaded Doom 3. But when I get into the game, I HAVE NO SOUND! Other games have no problem with this setup, and I NEED sound. Headphones won't work either. PLEASE PLEASE help soon.

Make sure you have the correct settings on Doom 3, example- not selected as something you dont have...or software. Oh and turn the volume up

well if headphones arent working i would say its a problem with doom 3 itself. make sure the sound is turned up on doom 3 and make sure that all the audio settings are okay. (can attest to the fact that 5.1 makes doom 3 a hell of a lot better having recently finished it)
