D Drive Help

Whenever I put a CD or game into my CD drive (I believe its actually the D drive) nothing happens and it doesnt appear when I click on my computer. Is there any spyware or bad program that could do this or do I need to try and clean it out or get it fixed? The only thing is the light below it blinks and the disk does spin slightly. Thanks so much for any help.

Open up your case and reseat the connections. Be sure to unplug the power chord first, and to ground yourself by touching the power supply before you touch anything inside the case.

i had to do that the other day with my DVD burner. Just installed it a couple of weeks ago, but the connection wasn't good. Reseating it took care of the problem

if you have a new cd drive... try to check ytour cables if it is all firm and attached if your cd rom drive is old it may need some cleaning or worst... replacement...
