My uncles floppy drive is seen by Windows but does not read the disks and the remove hardware icon in the systray says I need to remove it but won't let me. How can I get windows to see it as a permanent drive?
EDIT: Well now I think it is seeing the hard drive as the removable one so how do I get it to stop asking me to remove it. Also would that be causing the floppy drive to mess up because it worked when we first got it.
