Personally I hate LCDs, will always use my CRT for gaming. The most important thing of all is the contrast ratio which should be min 800:1 which that monitor has. You should just go with a Viewsonic CRT :p

First off, you want a low response time for a LCD gaming monitor, as well as the other things you mentioned. 12ms or lower will be fine. But beware, each manufactuer rates their response times differently so make sure you research before you buy. Samsung 8ms are fine for games.
Dont buy that LCD because it has an analogue connection. You want a DVi (digital) connection, if your graphic's card supports it. If not, it looks like a decent monitor. (Funny I cant find that monitor on Samsungs website) Read this on DVi:

The Viewsonic VP191b is a very good monitor if you can find the 8ms version, (although very unattractive.) I am currently deciding between that and a Samsung 193p+. Both may be over your budget. I'm not sure the conversion from $ to lbs. Here is some more helpful reading. Good luck.

i ended up getin the monitor which is shown in my first post...

Will that show games ok?

Will the analogue video control make much difference?

U wont have the option to notice the difference, unless u had 2 side to side. Analogue still perform very well. Enjoy.
