I have a AMD 3400+, on a Gigabyte motherboard. Running 2 Kingston 512 ram chips and a ATI raedon 8500 128 video card. I just recently upgraded an old computer and the only old thing in this new comp is the hardrives and video card.
When my computer is either: 1. Under heavy load, or 2. Is running for more then a few hours. It just randomly Shuts down. I still hear the fans and stuff running though so its more like its going into a standby and then hanging. I don't see how it can go into standby though since most of the times that i have seen the computer do this, i have either been browsing the web or playing a game. I also know the CPU isn't getting hot since i have been using easytune4 to watch the CPU temp. It hasn't gotten over 55c. The power supply in my case is 500w.
