Cirrus Logic 56k V9.0 Modem

Can anyone help, please.

I just had to reload my win 2000 and now have lost all my drivers.

I have tried many downloads but none work. I have a HP Laptop Omnibook XE3.

I have a CIRRUS V.90 56 K MODEM, Data / fax / Voice. The drivers I have are for Win98. I had to do an upgrade on my system to WIN2000 and nothing works now.

Have tried many drivers and always get error message.

When I run Hardware manager, It sees my Modem as PCI Simple Communications. I have tried to select from Device Manager Cirrus 56 K, but does not exist.

Some help and advice please.

have u try reinstalling the modem or removing the modem and switching to another pci slot?

go to driverguide.com enter "drivers " as your username and "all" as your password then just search for your driver and the os it is going to be installed on...
