Cannot reformat a SATA Hard Disk :-(

Hi,

Could anyone please advise how to reformat a single Maxtor SATA 150 Hard Disk Drive installed into a Soltek SFF PC?.

Basically WindowsXP has been put onto the hard disk just to make sure everything's working however now needs to be deleted and/or the hard disk reformatted.

Unable to recognise a SATA hard disk with the boot disk :-(

Placing the WindowsXP cd-rom into one of the drives won't give the option to reformat

Your help is appreciated.

uhhh, take out the hd, put it in an other pc, and reformat there. The reson y u cant format is cuz ur botted in wondows, taht is in the partition u wana format..
