My mobo is Soyo KT333 Dragon Ultra Platinum Edition
My CPU is Athlon XP 2200+ ThoroughBred-B, it's suppose to run at 1.8ghz but i left the Bios at default and it runs at xp 1500+(1.349ghz).
I tried changing it but then my computer doesn't boot up after that. What should i change my BIOS to? -to run it at regular speed (1.8ghz) and boot it up properly.

Thanks

i tried to alter the bus to 133mhz and run it at 1.7ghz ( next step up is 1.85ghz). Doesn't boot..

Actually I'm not sure. How I check? I lost my original packaging BTW.

Thanks for your help so far!

You need to lock the AGP/PCI Frequency as well.
[66.66/33.33] is the default .I would leave it at defualt until you have your Main overclock stable. You can increase this but do it in small intervals and test the system each time you increase the CPU/FSB.

s3an, why don't you boot the PC and get back into the BIOS menu... set everything back to the default settings again. Have you tried that?

the fsb for anything under a 3200(as mentioned before) shoudl be 333mhz. try a multiplier combo of 11 x 166. see if that works...thgats after u restore everything to default
