This just came up on Tom's, and I thought you guys might want to see this. I think it's kinda cool that you dont need matched cards, and you can use a new one and an old one:

Plus, I did some googling to find some more info:

Another thing that's been posted time and time again. Toms hardware sucks dude, if that's where you've been getting your info you need to try new places like www.xbitlabs.com I believe it is and www.anandtech.com

go to xtremesystems.org and on their front page is a ton of news listing and ATIs MVP has been listed a bunch of times with varying degrees of information

I didnt notice this really being posted. I did a search for this on TF, but it didnt really bring up too much info here, so I thought I would post it.

And, yes I do go to xbitlabs, but I didnt notice any headlines of this there recently, I must have missed it, dude ;)

Yeah I don't know if it was posted so much under "MVP" here, but I know I think gaara has posted something about it, and I think I posted something way back when in it's beginnings....but right now the latest news was them using an external connector when their original plans was to not use one. You didn't notice headlines recently because it's not really 'new new' at this point, it's not out, but it's been talked about for some time.

Personally I think it's stupid, I woulda been an ATI fanboy had they made a great single card, possibly dual gpu solution instead of following nvidia
