ATI Graphics Card

I would like to know if an ATI Radeon 9800XT would work well on a ASUS A7N8X-E DELUXE, N-Force 2 Chipset mptherboard with an AMD XP 3000+ CPU. Also which brand of ATI graphics cards would be the best. eg Sapphire or some other brand.

Any help much appreciated.

forgot to mention i have 1GB of GEIL High Performance DDR400 with heatspreader.
