I have an Asus A7V133 v 1.05 motherboard w/bios v.1009.

My 1GHz Athlon seems to work fine but I need help setting bios to run Athlon XP2100+.

The settings so far seem to hang.
At the time I bought it, the motherboard was found to be able to take up to Athlon 2100, I didn't realise the + made a difference and I can't get it to run.
Is there any upgrades available for this.
Any new BIOS that can handle this?.
Thanks for the help.

According to Asus website:
The Asus A7V133 (VIA KT133A chipset), PCB v1.05, BIOS v1007
or greater supports the following:

Athlon XP 1500+(Model 6)(Palomino)
thru
Athlon XP 2100+(Model 6)(Palomino)

For the Model 6 Palomino=
13x clock multiplier, 266FSB, nominal voltage 1.75v
should give you 1733Mhz

For the Model 8 Thoroughbred= If it even works
13x clock multiplier, 266FSB, nominal voltage 1.60v
should give you 1733Mhz

If all else fails do a Motherboard or CPU search at
www.asus.com for what either piece of hardware
supports.
