Nvidia launched the 7800GT today alon with the power of 3 marketing deal. [H]ardOCP has a review on the BFG 7800GT on their main page.

The 7800GT has 20 pipes instead of 24, clocks in at 400/1000 and is priced at around $400

it'll do better, theres no doubt about that...but it's HOW much better is the point to be seen.....considering though it's only like...$50 more expensive than a PCI-E 6800GT it'd be worth it especially if you could unlock the pipelines, but overall I thought the 7xxx was a let down.

the 7800GT is definatly faster than a X800XT-PE. the architecture runs circles around the X800's.
