Hi here is a link to the exact monitor i have bought: Newegg.ca - SCEPTRE X246W-1080p Black 23.6" 2 ms (OD), 5ms HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 DCR(40000:1) 1000:1
now the problem is, i bought an HDMI to HDMI cord because my computer and monitor both support it. Now when i do 1920 x 1080 resolution, there is a thick 1" black square going around my desktop. in other words, the screen wont go fullscreen. the manual screen adjustments on the monitor wont let me highlight it, and i dont know what to do.. The DVI to DVI cord works perfect, and iv tried TWO different HDMI cables, and no luck on it filling the fullscreen.
If someone has ideas or knows how to fix this, that would be awesome
