hey is this better than 8800 ultra in sli? i heard this is for workstation but if you could play games on it would you be able to? also i heard there are 3840 x 2400 monitors which is better than 2560 x 1600 and is that also possible for gaming?

The quadro series, was designed for graphics rendering and design. I would imagine, it would not game well. So it's better than the 8800GTX in SLI, at graphics rendering, but not gaming.

Just because, the resolution is bigger, doesn't always mean better. Playing games on that resolution, is possible, but will struggle too much, at high settings. 2560 x 1600 with maxed settings, is already a challenge for SLI'd 8800GTXs.

i would assume not, quadro's are rendering stuff, for ur workstation system, while 8800ultras are for gaming system..... it is possible for it to game at that resolution but it would probably give the performance my radeon would give at that resolution
