Hi guys this is going to be the first time I'm building my new gaming. computer and I'm very excited. I been meaning to do this for a while, but just couldn't find the time. So let me cut to the chase, my budget is around $500 - $1000. Things I don't need at this time are as follow: speaker, monitor, keyboard, and that all I can think right now, so that will cut down the cost. I currently have a very crappy mouse but I am definitely gonna buy a G5 mouse so if you guys can include that into the cost as well, thanks
I'm looking for a computer that can run Empire: Total War on max setting if possible when it come out and future games like Guild Wars 2, Starcraft 2, and any other new games that hasn't come out yet.
Once again I am looking for help to find every single part I need to build my own computer that is under $1000. I'm talking about DVD drive, CD drive, Motherboard, Computer Case, Ram, CPU, Heat Sink and Fan, Graphic Card, as well as Tools (can u just tell me the name off what I need), basically the whole shebang. Please assume that I have nothing, not even tools to build my own computer, I really need the whole package. Also can you guys match the parts so the CPU would work well with the Motherboard so everything could work fine, thanks.
I just want to say that this is strictly for Gaming. I don't need any special video, photo, or any other type of multimedia, because I have my older dell PC to do all of that stuff. So once again this is strictly for gaming, I just need all the stuff such as tools and all the parts for gaming.
Before I start with a few things, I have a few question:
I was wondering do I need an SLI motherboard, and do you guys recommend it or not recommend it? Another question is that should I go with core 2 duo or core 2 quad?
So one of the guy on another forums gave me a list of all the parts that I need for under $800, but it seem like despite having SLI graphic card, the motherboard he gave me is not SLI. Also I am strictly a Nvidia fan. Can you guys see if it a good build, and if it is, can you guys give me a suggestion to which computer case would go great with it. Also any case that can give me extra room to upgrade later would be great.
So here is what he came out with: https://secure.newegg.com/WishList/MySavedWishDetail.aspx?ID=7973434
Like his build, can you guys also tell me about those tape to hold the wire and what not. Like I said before I don't have any tools, so just another minder.
$1000 dollars is my max, but if you guys can give me a $800 build and another $1000 build, would highly appreciated it.
Note: I know other people have post in the past, but I want a 2009 recent build starting today off February 02, 2009, so I really appreciate all the help.
That all I can think off for now, thanks!
