Hi all.

I am puting together a PC to sit beside my Panasonic SCHT500 surround sound unit. It will be used soley as a music server to play through the surround sound. The only input avaliable on the surround sound is the aux in which is stereo RCA jacks.

Is there any sound card that will give me noticeably better sound than anything else? I am leaning towards a soundblaster audigy of some description with a good quality set of 3.5mm to RCA cables.

Any advice?

Ta.

Since I can only connect via 2 RCA jacks does it matter if it has any more than 2 channels as I can't connect those channels anyway? I do not have an optical IN.
