Default 10TB Seagate HD not recognized in Windows 10?

Just bought and installed a new 10TB HD. This is an internal drive and it will not power up or be recognized in "disk Management". ????

Is it showing up in your bios? What motherboard do you have?

Check the bios to see if it's being recognized on any SATA port. If it is, it'll be a Windows issue with initialization.

Not in the bios. Someone suggested going from Molex to Sata for this net storage drive? Not sure what that would accomplish.

[QUOTE=RicoDorenzo;2209699]Not in the bios. Someone suggested going from Molex to Sata for this net storage drive? Not sure what that would accomplish. Having the same problem with an installed WD Blue M2 and PCIe card not recognized. Does that m2 need to be in the first PCIe slot?

That depends on what board you're using. Take note that WD Blue will be a SATA based drive, and on most boards when an M.2 SATA based drive is inserted one of the SATA ports on the board will be disabled. You might be having a conflict issue here. Double check the manual to see what's what.
