Verizon moving from CDMA to GSM outside the US

Very interesting. The changes are outside the US but just how far away will be it be for the USA? After all, T-mobile did it with MetroPCS. I think it would be a good move for Big Red in the long run.

I'm sure it'd be quite a while for them to do it in the US. Costs would be crazy high for them to redo their infrastructure across the US since it's so large.
