Having an issue with a Surface Pro 2. Co-worker bought a generic Mini Display Port to HDMI/VGA/DVI adapter (cheap one off Amazon) and it doesn't work. The strange thing is the Surface recognizes the monitor it connects to (name shows up) but it will not display anything. Verified all settings for extending and duplicating. Verified Windows Updates were all installed. Verified adapter on another computer (works with no issues) with HDMI, VGA, and DVI.
Am I missing anything here? I feel like it's probably just the adapter that isn't compatible with the SP2. Here's the product we have: http://goo.gl/le3B53
