Motorolla Power Pack 3000 Problem

I got a Motorola Power Pack and it is not working with my Galaxy S5. Late I learned that it isn't compatible. Can anyone tell me why this is?

I don't see why it shouldn't work with your S5, since it uses MicroUSB.

On Verizon's website it says it doesn't. When I try and charge my S5 it just doesn't charge. It is really weird. I already sent it back and the new one does the same thing.

Tried using the microUSB cable that your phone came with rather than the one that came with the power pack?

I read apple have a technology which only allow signed devices for compatibility, maybe samsung have the same type of thing. I only read some brief thing so my post might be incorrect
