Now, i did some research regarding using a Bluetooth enabled cell phone as a Dial-up Internet modem. i would like to know if their is a restricted phone list i currently have a sidekick 3 and i and in the market to purchase a laptop with or without a bluetooth connection because i could just get the usb adapter. so the question is can i use my sidekick 3 as a internet device on the road? Is their any other way to get my laptop internet ready when i am out?

Thanks

You can use a mobile broadband connection through Sprint, Verizon, etc... They usually give you an ExpressCard/TypeII PCMCIA card and unlimited data for about $60/mo plus fees.

Sprint has the best plan at the moment, but offers an old type II card (not compatible with newer laptops).

Alternatively, you can use your data plan on your phone and use ICS to share a connection (but this can usually only be done on higher end phones, like with a Windows equipped PPC phone).
