Anyone here used the search on their Google Photos account ? it gives me a nerd hard on, I mean I was impressed when I could search "food" and it showed me all my food shots. But now you can even search for "Curry" or "Mac N Cheese", and the results it brings back are damn accurate ! It makes me giggle every time.

For example...

I search Mercedes...

It sees the fricken Merc logo in the cars alloy !

It's damn impressive. It doesn't find everything, but i'm sure it'll get better and better.

Though it seems odd that if I search Pepsi, it returns pics of Vimto/Cola and Pepsi. If I search Coca Cola, it return just the Cola can.

I love that a group of people were paid to ensure male members were classified correctly "today at work I showed an algorithm a bunch of dick pics" = simultaneously the best and worst job ever.

Today I'm looking into jumping on the Tesla bandwagon, probably at the end of the week. Just sucks that brokerage fees for investing in US markets get close to $100 for each trade here -_- so I have to make ~$200 just to cover the trade costs.

That said, investing 3000aud @ 197 and then selling if it hits 240 = $580aud gain, $380 profit on my 3k investment is a 12.66% return. Not bad for what'll probably be a 6-9 month investment
In contrast, if I left that 3k in the bank in my "high interest" saver account, it'd get me a total of $60 for the whole year.

Dont' suppose someone in the US wants to open a proxy trade account for me? I put the cash in, we avoid ridiculous brokerage fee, everyone wins!

Decided to brush up on my networking (it's getting rusty) and actually get either my Network+ or CCNA Routing+Switching. Probably the former, haven't decided yet.

Oh, and I dunno if I mentioned it but I'm no longer a Trainee Cell Site Analyst at work, I'm a full Cell Site Analyst. As far as I can tell there will be no change in salary but there will be a change in responsibility as I start to complete cases managed by myself. I'll bring it up at my appraisal meeting later today.
