Thousands of Australian workers are expected to walk off the job on time on November 25.

Next Wednesday is national Go Home On Time Day, when employees can download a leave pass from the internet and actually leave work on time.

A new report from a leading Australian think tank has found that all up, Australians work around two billion hours of unpaid overtime every year.

That is almost an hour of unpaid overtime every day and over the course of a year, that equates to more than most employees' annual leave entitlements.

Considering that today I found myself missing lunch and stuck back at the office for another 30 minutes as I was finishing stuff up, I am glad to see that it's not just me.
