Green https for admin console? (NOT in Chrome)

I've been wondering about something but can't find info on it online. I'm hoping somebody here can help me out.

I think a green https equals admin status for the person who is able to see it, in which case it is only visible for them. Does anyone know where I can read more on this?

To be more specific:
* This is in all browsers but Chrome.
* I mean the letters "https" itself; not the being green of the whole url when the site has an EV cert.
* It probably has to be someone who has admin rights of the whole site and/or is sys admin, for them to be able to see this; a person who has a blog on Wordpress eg would not see it as they are not admin of Wordpress itself.

Thanks in advance!

Usually the green "https" just means that the SSL cert is valid.
Ya I was a bit vague I guess before. At this point I'm a bit doubtful whether my question can be answered, but I'll try to be as specific as possible.

What I mean is the following: picture the green https Chrome shows you for, eg, Google. That used to stand for a secure connection in Chrome, ie valid certificate/SSL (reference to this has been removed from Chrome's helppages). That is what I mean and am looking for, only in all other browsers. Imho, only (sys) admins would be able to see it then.

So I'm specifically not looking for the green EV certs and/or the effect they will have on the url. What I mean is only the letters "https" itself being green, like in Chrome except not in Chrome but in other browsers. Thanks for thinking along with me!
