Right now I have the console client reporting in half of my 2gb of ram, for each of the two consoles I run. Will I get, bigger WUs, if I set them to report the whole 2 gigs?

Mine is set up to report the whole 2 gigs... I still usually get supervillins and others about that size, I haven't had one bigger than 5 million steps yet.
But if you answered yes to this question in the console.. you will get bigger ones...
Allow receipt of work assignments and return of work results greater than 5MB in size (such work units may have large memory demands (no/yes) [no]?

By default, the client gets assigned only WUs that won't need a lot of network bandwidth or ressources.

argh....after a day of completing one WU, it says it cannot send the completed work to the server, and then starts a new one. So what will happen to the just completed one?

It will stay in your Queue. It will keep trying to send it.

Both of my consols give me those messages.. funny thing is i got credited for them yet my consel keeps sending them. Oh well, I'll delete them later... typically happens to me after I do a small work unit.

According to your log it was sent thorugh...

that might be for a different one though. I don't know.

I just checked the team stats, and it did send successfully. I guess it takes a few attempts. w00t! I just got 1000 points today. And I'll get another 500, possibly Friday. 40k rank...here I come...lol...and I'm not even doing the GPU client.

I'm just folding on my C2D.. that I have yet to OC..lol.. GPU would be nice.. I'll see about that when the ATI cards come out.

How can I fix this? I already tried, re-downloading, and reinstalling.

I assume by saying you tried reinstalling you must be talking about the GUI Version...

Thats a Direct X error.. download and install the latest version.

OK, I downloaded and installed the latest version, and now it doesn't show that error message, but it says working.....and the steps just keep going up. It's not doing any work.
