Are There Any Good Free Web Hosting Providers

Im not really new to the internet, nor am i new to computer and programming, but im looking to put up a nice litts webste for some fun, and i dont have the time nor thye money to hose a good site on a domain, so my question is ??


Does anybody know any good free sites that offer free webhosting, preferably no ads, but at least not a lot of ads?

I liked BraveNet when I was using free host. They might not allow a lot of FTP transfers and such, but they allow you access to their bundle of add-ons which is nearing 30+ or something like that. it's very cool stuff too

I could not find one that wouldnt stop deleting my site, like geocities did a million times, so I set up my own server and host my own stuff now, sites, pics, whateva.
