Domain
Hello. My name is Matt and I'm building a website. Originally I used to have website hosted by others but that either costs money or has adds on it. This time I'm trying something new to me. I'm trying to set up my computer to host the website itself. So far I've set up my computer to have a FTP connection and I think that if I can set up a domain to go to the website which I can store in my FTP folder but I'm not sure how to do this. I heard that it might have something to do with a "Name Sever" but I'm not sure. Can somebody please email to explain how to get a domain to link to my home sever.
