NIC Teaming

Couple of things about that article:

First, teaming is a terrible term, some manufacturers take it to mean link aggregation, (bonding) where you combine the port speeds (e.g 1 + 1 = 2Gbps)
for other manufacturers teaming means link failover. (like some kind of networking tag team)

up until windows 2012 this was not built into windows.

so you'd either need to run Linux, or, have installed the manufacturer specific software for the cards that provides this.

(mostly only available for "server grade" network cards. - where server grade is an equally terrible term for describing anything)

what card are you trying to setup?
