Internet Connection Sharing.

Move the xbox closer? Or just plug it in with a cat5? I'm confused as to what you are trying to do.

At this point in time it is not possible to move the xbox is it possible to do this


internet > modem > router > desktop > XBOX

NOT Possible for me at this point in time

internet > modem > router > Desktop
internet > modem > router > XBOX

*basicly is there a way to connect my XBOX to the internet through the desktop, the desktop has two cards "Wireless linksys network card" , and "10/100 3com ethernet card"

I see, well i just went out and get my belkin wireless G network card from my hous and im going to shut this computer down and install it to see if i can use both these wireless network cards, one to share my network connection with and the other to obtain the network connection ill tell you guys how it goes.

I believe it MIGHT be possible to connect to the router with the wireless and use the nic on the machine as a shared connection. But i have no clue how you would go about doing it.
