Can't access router web config to forward ports

I have a D-link DI-704 router. Everytime i try to access my router web configuration at 192.168.0.1, i get the "This page cannot be displayed" message. I am using IE 6, i enabled java, and all router settings are default. Any suggestions would be appreciated

click start | run, enter cmd. execute ipconfig. double check your router's address with the default gateway listed. They should be the same.

Nope, just 192.168.0.1

You need that in there. If its not automatically doing it

plug the computer into the router without your modem and do an ipconfig /renew see what it comes back with
