Is a Security+ certification really worth anything?

If the Security+ cert is as desirable as you guys make it sound, what's your opinion on the Network+ cert? I've been studying for a few weeks now, I'm mainly using NET+ just as a stepping stone to then begin studying for the CCNA exam. My employer pays for the certification exams so I figure why not take my time with them? Any input as to if the NET+ cert itself is worth anything in the job world?

Net+ isn't worth a whole lot. It's not completely useless but most networking jobs are going to want a vendor cert like CCNA.

Im studying for CCNA 200-125 now and is alot! to learn.. my exam is end of July.

If you work or plan to work in a cisco environment, its a must have of course.

Net+ is good for a broad understanding and if you not to interested in cisco.

Im going to do my Net+ after just to bulk out my CV and just looks good lol
