While I can understand you are posting from the Android app on a mobile device, that does not mean that we let text talk be used. There is no excuse for using "r" instead of "are" even on a mobile device. I also post from both my tablet and phone and take the time to type things out. We try to be as professional as possible on this site. Text Talk is not the way to go.

Agreed, particularly since doing the shorthand would be arduous seeing as it would usually be corrected back to 'are'.
