I have a $300 sennheiser headset, that I'm sure is 10x better than the xbox one specific headsets that they want you to buy. The only problem is, it has dual 3.5mm jacks which are audio in and audio out (one for the mic, and one for the headset itself). If I buy their adapter with the single 3.5mm jack, (which is extremely frustrating in its own way) and then used a dual 3.5mm converter to a single 3.5mm, Would my headset work properly by picking up chat sounds, and stereo sounds (game sounds and people talking).
