Xbox 360 controller with pc

i was at best buy the other day and noticed a pc version of the xb0x360 controller, and i was very tempted to get it, it was only 40 dollars, and it would have that nice xbox feel i love with racing games, has anyone used this controller for pc??

or if any other suggestions... what controller would be good... i'd only be using for racing games, so keep that in mind.. paychecks coming up so lots of threads of me being things should be popping up

you can also use the normal xbox360 controller, the one that is "for PC" comes with the drivers. Otherwise, if you have a 360 you can use its controllers, and download the drivers.
