Problems with Gemini Axispad FX controller

i just bought a controller, it's a Gemini Axispad FX, and after i installed it & restarted my comp, i couldn't connect to the internet! none of my p2p programs would connect, nor would internet explorer. WTF?

i am running winXP, and it claims to be XP compatable

i had to use system restore to get back online

any suggestions?
