Yeah, it's supposed to rain here all week too... so I pry won't get to try it out until next weekend or the week after that when the outdoor range dries up

Ended up getting a Smith & Wesson SD9 VE. Got it for $350 (not bad; found them online on GunBroker.com for $300, so I figured $50 worth of shipping and getting to have it now was worth it). It's more like a Glock, which not sure if I like or not, since it doesn't have a manual safety. Hopefully it fires nicely.
Was originally looking at a .22, but decided on this 9mm last minute because of the reviews I read/vids I watched. It's apparently a nice gun for the price; takes anything from cheap to high quality ammo without an issue. Plus, 9mm ammo is plentiful here, where as .22 is really hard to get; it's flying off the shelves.

When my fiance and I were checking out different ones, she wanted to hold a revolver after we got done trying out the .22's, 9mm's, and .40's... and she pretty much fell in love with a .357 lol. She loved the feel of it - so I guess I'll have to get her a revolver eventually, because she really liked the feel of it.
Oh I did get my KitKat upgrade to work had to use a friends computer
