My preference is G.Skill. I am using XPG Spectrix in my rig because I wanted some RGB and the price and reviews fit the bill at the time. I have used Patriot in the past and they used to be a top brand but I don't see me bothering with them again. Crucial is good and solid and always has been, and the same goes for Corsair.

Did you make sure it was actually corsiar RAM? Not some cheap knockoff?

The bad memory in question is actually Patriot.

Knock on wood, but I've never had a bad set of Corsair RAM.
