Can you imagine how many times it has been explained, how many articles and teachings written, and is there really little else? Still need one more?
At first read these two and if still not enough, open the third link.

What's your definition of "traced to you" ? Because if you're logging into to an account, that's already "traced" back to you.

If you mean by location, then it depends on where your location is set for the VPN. The VPN provides encryption in transit. You are "talking" to your destination site (for example, Facebook), through a VPN tunnel. The entrance to that tunnel is your computer. The exit of that tunnel is the VPN provider's servers. From there, the request is sent to Facebook.com. So Facebook things you're logging in from VPN Server Location, masking your true location.

what I mean is if im logged in to pandora or facebook for example or any other forum
while visiting some not very legit page for example

is the traffic completely separate or can it be traced to same session or any other way connected to me being logged into facebook while surfing midget porn or something lol( just an example) or torrenting traffic for example or other things..

It's all originating from the same IP.

So if the FBI (for example) wanted to come after you for torrenting Kidz Bop 3000, they'd have your IP from those records...but then would have to somehow that you were logged into Facebook or Super Random Forum, and subpeona them for IP logs and match it up to your IP/account.

Liklihood of that happening: pretty dang low unless you're a terrorist and they've already been watching you, so they'd know to watch your social media accounts.
