Two 8800GT's please. That's the route i'm going. Get a decent PSU, 2 8800GT's eat up about 360 watts.

Hrm, I'd say Ultra just because it means you can avoid Nvidia chipset mobos, which are rubbish. Read Veedub's recent woes.

i've never had any problems with my 680i board...i've seen VERY few people have problems with theirs also.

Ya, the 680i boards are very hit or miss. Either you have no trouble or it burns up in 2 months. After the fact if i had known i would have this many problems with SLI and the 680i board, i would have probably just bought the ultra. I know if the 780i board im getting gives me even the smallest hint of a problem, im going to go back to a single card setup and x38 board whenever the new nvidia cards come out.

I dont think thats possible, since one only uses 105 watts.
