Assuming you're going to want SLI, it looks pretty good!

The only thing I would change is:

1. Crucial Ballistix for your memory. You seem to be on the fence anyway...

2. Maybe consider a Q6600? Your CPU is great, but if you think you would get use out of a quad core... it can't hurt...

Decent Build but if you really plan to use 4GB of RAM your gonna need a 64bit OS, personally I would just get 2GB of the Crucial Ballistix 800 also your kinda of skimping on the CPU compared to the rest of your build, I would get a Q6600 if I were you great CPU overclocks well bring it up to 3.2Ghz easy, Make sure to buy a "G0" Stepping model

also how familiar are you with water cooling it can be hard if your jsut starting out

Yeah... I didn't see that.

I wouldn't buy 4GB of memory if I didn't have a 64-bit OS.

8/10

For having between $400-$500 in the case and PSU, the system doesn't justify that for me.

Why do you need a 750 Watt PSU for a single GPU, a single HDD, and a single DVD-RW??

Scale down on Case and PSU, and buy yourself another 8800GT for SLI.

i don't want a quad core CPU at the moment but i might upgrade to it in the near future i also might add another 8800GT card when the price drops down

Yeah i would go Q6600 too....but doesn't that mobo not overclock Quads well?

is it right that softwares need to be programed to use Q6600 , i mean not all software will work with it right ?

Not all software will take full advantage of it, but all software should work. Upcoming games, like Crysis, take full advantage of it.
