Need Help Choosing Headset

Hi, I'm looking for a decent headset with which to talk to my teammates while playing online PC games. I've been asking around and many people suggest me to buy a headset made by Logitech. I've found their headset webpage, but I do not know what all the specifications regrading headsets mean. Can anybody tell me which headset would be "the bang for the buck", or would be a really great deal? Thanks.

i was planning to get this myself, i just didn't have the money cuz of my billssssss

i play online gaming, FPS to be exact
i have a decent JVC headphone only
i still own.
Logitech is a great brand for headsets

Also, one more question. When choosing headsets, should I look for one that uses a 3.5mm stero jack or choose one that uses USB port to plug in?

I've had bad experiences with logitech, for instance my 2 ps2 headsets broke, and with my pc headset, the mic is too far away from my face. People can not hear me on games, so I am looking for a new headset/mic, but I don't know what to get.
