cant find printer

i know i installed printer software on my computer, but just for the hell of it, i reinstalled the software. i went to the installed printers and faxes window and my printer is not listed. the window is just blank. any ideas?

try going to control panel and clicking Add Hardware. If you have installed the software, it should detect it and install it. If that doenst work, check cables and power.
