i'm going to move soon and i wont have cable/dsl internet available, will satellite or mobile broadband internet work well enough for me to play xbox live without lagging? i've heard the latency on satellite internet will make it unplayble.. anyone playing on one of these?

My buddy used his cell phone as a modem, and played me on PSN playing UFC, it was unplayable. He was in a place with great reception too, and had a good speed, just lagged like crazy.

Mobile (cell phone) networks are very slow (as good as 3G can be, it's not really that good for browsing let alone online multi), however the mobile broadband stuff can get you good speeds, upwards of 2Mb/s.

Isn't mobile broadband only as good as the carriers coverage?
