Windows 7: Freezing at "Completing Installation"

I have no idea what to do anymore, so I gave up and started using vista x64 again.
Upgrade adviser said my system was fully compatible with W7 x64...

I've read many forums and guides yet nothing seems to work.

Foxconn Mobo - P9657AA-8KS2H
Intel Core2Duo - E6400
Kingston - 4GB Ram
Evga Nvidia - 8600GTS 512mb

Any ideas?

Does it give a error message or anything or just freeze? Does it stop at a certain % or anything? How are you going about the upgrade? Doing it in place or doing a custom install?

It doesn't show me a percentage when in the completing stage. The dots just stop moving eventually.

Custom install with a new harddrive.
