Will this splitter work with my headset

I've recently got a new laptop and i wanted to connect my turtle beach x12 to it so i could use teamspeak or Skype, but it has a combined audio-mic jack, so I'd'd need to get a splitter for it to work. I found this one on Amazon, but I'm not sure if it would work, so i thought I'd just ask here to see if anyone knew.
