vector linux problem

we are getting a io error 104 (connection reset by peer) on x server
what does this mean and how can i fix it??

check /var/log/X11/xorg.log.0-------------check somewhere in there, may not be that exact directory/file, but X does keep a log file, open that and see what the end of it says

might be /var/log/X11/xf86.log depends on what X server vector uses
