The Latest - Cheapest External HD's

I'm looking for an external HD. What's the best one to buy for the $100 range. I would like it to be USB 2.0 (if Firewire too than cool) and have has much storage for the price...

Go onto Ebay. I bought a 200 gig uSB Western Digital and enclosure for around $100. That's one way of finding what you need.

200 gig external new is going to run you around $150.00 (browsing through TigerDirects price pages). Personally, I'd rather pay $150 for a brand new one, rather than $100 for a used Ebay one, but that's just my opinion.

Somebody said you can daisy chain firewire HD enclosures, is that true?

Yes. but not like SCSI drives. You can attach as many USB to USB Hubs (or firewire to firewire hubs) as you want..and by the way, that was a Brand new 250 gig Western Digital with USB Metal Gear Case for $100 on Ebay, not used!
