Hi,
I had a virus on my PC and I think I got rid of it by using ComboFix, bu after using ComboFix I can't access the internet anymore (typing this on a laptop).
Outlook express still lets me e-mail, that works fine, but both Fireox and IE don't let me access the internet.
I tried connecting directly to the modem (bypassing the router), still no success.
I also did ping tests with no errors, tried with ZoneAlarm firewall switched off, also with AVG switched off, still no success.
I also tried to set Firefox settings to 'no proxy' , but also that did not help.
If anybody can help me with this, I'd appreciate it very much, at this point I have no clue what else to try.

EDIT: problem is solved, I ran netsh winsock reset, and that did the trick.
